TROOP 709 DAY AT SKYPARK MTB BIKE PARK

Departure: Friday, September 24 @ 6pm from UMCV

Return: Sunday, September 126@ approx 12pm UMCV

Price listed below includes SkyPark ticket and troop travel fee. 

$75 Adult

$65 Scout 

This is a schedule Troop 709 campout to Skyforest. Those that are eligible to ride at the bike park, we will be riding on Saturday. Scouts not riding on Saturday will be doing a short hike and helping our younger Scouts with rank advancement.

You must have completed your BSA Cycling (MTB) Merit Badge through the Scouting MTB Program to be eligible to ride at the bike park. Those that completed the merit badge on their own or through another program, you must go through a rider assessment with Scouting MTB prior to our departure date. Please visit our calendar page for scheduled dates we are holding rider assessments.

Bike, CPSC rated bike helmet, knee pads and water bottle or hydration pack. Elbow pads and gloves are optional but highly recommended.

Parents will need to complete the online liability waiver if your son is going to be riding at Skypark on Saturday. Please make sure to go online at https://skyparksv.centeredgeonline.com/waiver and complete the waiver. Once you get a confirmation by email, please forward it to Louis Almeida or bring it to a troop meeting no later than Sept 21, 2021.   

Since this is a Troop 709 campout, we will be departing on Friday, Sept. 24 from UMCV. This is treated like all our other troop campouts. Except some us will be at the bike park on Saturday, while the other Scouts will be doing other Scout activities back at camp.
