REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Because the cycling merit badge requires that each Scout complete a number of bike rides. Each Scout must have a valid and complete ACTIVITY CONSENT FORM AND APPROVAL BY PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIAN in order to participate in this program.
ITEMS TO BRING TO CLASS:
- Class Fee: $25 (checks payable to BSA Troop 709)
- ACTIVITY CONSENT FORM AND APPROVAL BY PARENTS OR LEGAL GUARDIAN
- Cycling Merit Badge Worksheet or Notepad
- Pen or Pencil
- Mountain Bike in Good Working Condition *
- Lawn Chair
- Water and Snack
- Bike and Helmet
* Your bike must be able to pass the BIKE INSPECTION. See the Bike Inspection Checklist and inspect your bike prior to the class date. Please make all necessary repairs prior to class date. If your bike does not pass inspection, you will not be able to participate in the bike rides until your bike is repaired.
